Terms of Service
Effective date: October 20, 2026 • Idaho, United States
1. Introduction and scope
Welcome to HackerMooseAI. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of this website and services that expressly incorporate these Terms. HackerMooseAI, we, us, and our refer to the operator of the HackerMooseAI website, based in Idaho, United States. HackerMooseAI is used here as a brand name, not a representation of a particular corporate form.
Please review these Terms before using the Service. Where you are asked to accept these Terms, your acceptance forms an agreement with us. If you disagree, do not use the Service. Separate product terms and checkout disclosures apply to Picking Geek AI and US Visa Photo where presented; product-specific terms control for that product if there is a conflict, subject to mandatory law. A link from this website alone does not replace another website’s terms.
2. Eligibility and minors
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create an account or directly submit personal information. If you are at least 13 but below the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms. Paid purchases must be authorized by an adult with legal capacity.
An adult submitting a child’s photo must have authority to do so and comply with the product’s privacy and consent requirements. Permission under these Terms does not replace any legally required parental consent or privacy notice.
3. Accounts and security
Where a product offers accounts, provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for reasonable care of your account. You are not automatically responsible for unauthorized activity caused by our breach of a legal duty. Do not impersonate others or share access in violation of a product’s stated rules.
4. Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully and only with content you have the right to provide. Do not infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; submit malware; engage in fraud, phishing, harassment, or spam; bypass access controls or usage limits; disrupt the Service; or access another person’s account without permission.
Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or use automated extraction to train competing models from our protected software or content without authorization, except to the extent an applicable law, open-source license, or other express permission allows it. Do not falsify identity documents or present manipulated images as unaltered originals.
5. Intellectual property and your content
The Service’s software, design, text, and branding are owned by us or our licensors, subject to applicable third-party and open-source rights. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable product licenses.
You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant us and service providers acting on our behalf only the permissions reasonably necessary to receive, host, process, transmit, and display that content to provide your requested service, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. This clause does not authorize unrelated advertising or general-purpose AI training. Any such additional use requires a separate lawful basis and appropriate disclosures or consent. AI output may not be unique or eligible for copyright protection; no exclusive rights in output are guaranteed.
6. AI output and Picking Geek AI
AI-generated material can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. Review important output independently. Picking Geek AI is intended for informational and educational market research, not personalized investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Providing research does not create an adviser-client or fiduciary relationship. A disclaimer does not exclude obligations imposed by law.
We do not guarantee real-time market data, prediction accuracy, investment performance, or returns. Do not rely solely on AI output to buy or sell securities. You make your own investment decisions and should seek qualified advice when appropriate.
7. US Visa Photo and government requirements
US Visa Photo is an independent photo preparation tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of State, USCIS, or any government agency, and it does not provide immigration or legal advice.
Cropping, background processing, and other edits may make a photo unsuitable for a particular application. Check the current official requirements for your specific application and review the final image before submission. Do not submit an image that impermissibly changes your appearance or otherwise violates agency rules. Only the relevant authority decides acceptance; buying a photo does not guarantee photo acceptance, visa approval, or a refund if rejected. Any expressly offered refund policy and mandatory consumer rights still apply.
8. Fees, subscriptions, and refunds
Browsing this website does not enroll you in a paid plan. If a product offers paid features, prices, taxes, included deliverables, and any recurring billing terms must be disclosed before purchase. Demonstration or sandbox checkout does not itself establish a live paid offering.
A recurring subscription applies only when expressly offered and accepted. Before charging, the offer must disclose the amount, billing interval, renewal terms, and a simple cancellation method. Cancel using the method shown at purchase or contact us for assistance. Cancellation stops future renewals as disclosed and does not automatically refund prior charges, except where the stated policy or law requires it. Material pricing changes require advance notice and any consent required by law.
Any refund policy applicable to a purchase must be available before checkout. If no product-specific policy is provided, contact us to request review of a billing error, duplicate charge, failed delivery, or other problem; no blanket non-refundable rule is created by these Terms. Payment processors have their own terms. Nothing here limits statutory refund, dispute, or chargeback rights.
9. Privacy and external services
Our contact form sends the information you enter through FormSubmit to [email protected]. Sending a message therefore involves FormSubmit and our email provider. Avoid sending passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, or confidential financial records through the contact form.
Linked products, hosting, AI, market-data, and payment providers may apply their own terms and privacy notices. Review the notices presented when using those services. These Terms are not a privacy policy and do not constitute blanket consent to data collection, sale, or sharing. Separate privacy notices and any legally required consent remain necessary. Contact us about privacy questions or data requests; applicable legal rights are preserved.
10. Availability and changes to services
Features and availability may change, and demonstrations may be limited or interrupted. We may modify or discontinue features for operational, security, or legal reasons. For a paid service materially affected during a prepaid period, we will provide appropriate notice and any remedy required by the purchase terms or applicable law.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE. WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE OPERATION. THIS DOES NOT OVERRIDE EXPRESS PURCHASE COMMITMENTS OR WARRANTIES AND CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM THE SERVICE. THIS EXCLUSION DOES NOT APPLY TO FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE LIMITED. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS; IN THOSE CASES, ONLY LAWFUL LIMITATIONS APPLY.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Stopping use alone does not cancel a separately purchased recurring subscription; use its cancellation process. You may contact us about account closure and data requests. We may restrict access for material violations, abuse, security risks, or legal requirements. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue; urgent risks may require immediate action. Termination does not remove accrued payment obligations, applicable refund rights, or provisions intended to survive.
14. Idaho law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho and applicable U.S. federal law, without applying conflict-of-law rules that would displace that choice. This choice does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections that apply under the law of their place of residence.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally, but doing so is not a prerequisite to exercising legal rights and does not shorten any statutory deadline. A dispute may be brought in a state or federal court with lawful jurisdiction in Idaho, or another court where mandatory law permits or requires the claim. These Terms do not impose exclusive Idaho venue, mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, or a waiver of small-claims or regulatory complaint rights.
15. Updates and general provisions
We may update these Terms prospectively and will show the revised effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice reasonably suited to the relationship and obtain fresh acceptance when required. Changes do not retroactively govern an existing dispute without your agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and any expressly incorporated product terms form the applicable agreement, subject to non-waivable rights. The English text is the primary version; Traditional Chinese is provided for convenience, subject to any mandatory local-language protections.
16. Contact us
For questions about these Terms, billing, privacy, or a dispute, contact HackerMooseAI at [email protected] or use our Contact Us page. Please include enough information to identify the relevant service and issue, without sending sensitive documents unless we arrange an appropriate channel.
